Sewer

Category 3 (black water)

Grossly unsanitary. Described as water that results from a grossly unsanitary source or carries pathogenic (disease causing) agents. This could come from discharge from toilets that originate from beyond the toilet trap (sewer or septic systems), intrusions from the surface of ground water into the structure, an example being flood waters.

If you have had a water damage that meets this criteria prompt action needs to be taken.

After samples from drywall compound, textured ceiling compound, lino or vc tile, these products may contain asbestos and will not be removed until tests come back from the lab indicating that we can proceed with the tearout of these contaminated products from category 3 water. If containing asbestos, removal will occur by certified standards.
